The R123 Universal Controller is the field platform connecting detection equipment within a perimeter sector. R123 CMS and G-Max4000 provide command-and-control software for presenting and managing security information. A project specification should distinguish the controller, the software and the interfaces required between them.
The field cable carries power and communications for G-Max fence, wall and underground sensors. Analog and supervised digital input modules connect compatible external detectors. External equipment should be evaluated against the supported module, signal type and supervision requirements. Compatibility with a particular detector must be confirmed rather than inferred from a general integration statement.
R123 provides individual sensor calibration and configurable virtual zones. These allow the detection layout and alarm presentation to be planned around the site. Specify which sensors belong to each operational zone, how zones are named and which alarm conditions should be displayed to operators. Calibration should reflect the installed sensor and local conditions.
R123 connects to G-Max R123 CMS and supports integration with third-party command centers through an Open API or optional dry-contact interfaces. These are different integration routes. Confirm the available interface documentation, required equipment and the alarm or status information the receiving system must exchange. The information exchanged depends on the selected interface; dry-contact outputs and software interfaces serve different integration needs.
G-Max command-and-control configurations support mapped detector or zone events, linked camera views and configured PTZ presets. Available functions include CCTV integration through ONVIF and IP, programmable outputs and macros. Define the intended camera view for each zone, the supported camera and video-management interfaces, and the operator instructions. Specific device and software-version compatibility requires project verification.
Available diagnostic functions include remote self-tests, health supervision, event records and detector-signal recording. The Technician Test Unit supports raw-signal recording and replay for sensitivity assessment. A commissioning plan should cover detector activation, zone mapping, communication loss, configured outputs, camera associations and operator review of recorded events.
List the selected sensors, control-room software, cameras, recorders and external systems. Include required alarm and fault signals, user roles and network responsibilities. G-Max can use this scope to discuss the relevant controller and software interfaces. Final capacity, licensing and compatibility should be confirmed for the proposed configuration.
